Gesture Control of the Map in Kurviger Navigation

Please note: this refers to gesture control on the navigation map. For the planning maps, the first two points in the “Zooming” category apply.

You can move the map in Kurviger navigation in various ways: zooming, panning, tilting, and rotating. All these movements are controlled by different gestures. Below is an overview of the most important gestures.

The Kurviger app offers you various options for zooming in and out of the map:

  • Pinch to zoom: The most familiar zoom gesture is to spread two fingers apart (zoom in) or push them together (zoom out) on the map.
  • Double-tap with one finger: Tap the map twice in quick succession with one finger to zoom in.
  • Single tap with two fingers: Tap the map briefly with two fingers at the same time to zoom out.
  • Tap and slide: Tap the map twice with one finger and keep your finger on the screen when you tap the second time. You can now zoom in and out by sliding your finger up and down.
  • Zooming with the volume buttons: If you activate the corresponding option under Settings, you can also use your device's volume buttons to zoom.
  • Zooming with the zoom buttons: The + and - buttons of the navigation are operable with gloves and can be used to zoom in and out of the map.

You can move the map by placing your finger on the map and moving it. The map moves with your finger.

Place two fingers on the map and make a circular motion to rotate the map. You can zoom while rotating by changing the distance between your fingers.
