Automatic Rerouting

The Kurviger Navigation (available with Tourer+) gives you the option to ride with or without automatic rerouting (Settings ➔ Automatic Rerouting).

When this option is enabled, a new route will automatically be calculated if you leave your planned route.

Note that automatic rerouting can sometimes cause waypoints to be skipped or lead to a route that no longer exactly follows your original one. Many riders therefore prefer to disable automatic rerouting to keep full control over their planned route.

Manual Rerouting:

If you leave your planned route with automatic rerouting turned off, Kurviger will automatically zoom out so you can more easily find your way back. You are then “off-route”. If you changed your mind and want to recalculate now, there is a blue button Recalculate, which you can use to “manually” initiate the recalculation of your route.
