Kurviger for Apple CarPlay

Kurviger can also be used with CarPlay! This means you can navigate comfortably and safely with Kurviger even without a smartphone on the handlebar.

Please note: CarPlay does not support the full range of features offered by the Kurviger app. This is due to technical and design restrictions imposed by CarPlay. We make the best possible use of the available scope, but some features remain exclusive to the app.

To use Kurviger for CarPlay, connect your smartphone to your vehicle display and select the Kurviger app in the CarPlay user interface. Then you can start right away.

In principle, the operation on CarPlay is largely the same as in the Kurviger app. You will find the following functions there:

+ and – zoom in and out of the map
Crosshairs centers the map on your current location
In the⁝ menu you will find settings

The four-way arrow puts your display in map movement mode.

If you want to plan or change a route, simply switch back to the Kurviger app.

In the ⁝ menu, you can turn voice output on or off and switch between your destination and intermediate destinations in the navigation display.

Open the Kurviger app on your smartphone
Load the desired route (e.g., from the Kurviger Cloud)
Open the app on your CarPlay display – this requires that your smartphone is connected to your CarPlay display/motorcycle.
Tap on Navigate – and off you go!

Tip: Tapping the screen or pressing a button during navigation will bring up the “⁝” menu and a button to skip the next waypoint.
