In the cloud, you can easily share routes, favorites, and entire folders with other Kurviger users. You can control exactly who has access.

Each item (route/favorite/folder) displays its current sharing status:

Private = Only you can see the item, only you have access to it
Shared = You shared the item with others

  • Shared (Restricted) = Only invited guests have access
  • Shared (Open) = Anyone with the link has access

Invited = This item isn't yours, another user wants to share it with you - why not accept it?
Shared with me = Was shared with you by another user
Public = You have saved a publicly accessible item to your cloud

In the Kurviger Cloud, select the folder, route, or favorite you want to share. Then click on the status label or the three-dot menu for that item and select Share.

Invite Someone Directly

  1. Just click Invite someone under People with access.
  2. Then enter the email address of a Kurviger user (the address the user used to register with Kurviger) with whom you want to share the item, and click Invite.
  3. The invited user appears in the People with access list with the yellow Invited label. Once the invitation is accepted, the yellow label disappears.

If you want to remove a person from the list, click the trash can icon to the right of their name.

Instead of sending individual invitations to other users, you can simply share a openly accessable link. This option is particularly useful for sharing with larger groups (e.g. WhatsApp tour groups).

  1. Change the Access settings to Open.
  2. Click Share link and copy the link or send it directly via a messaging app.

Accept Invitation / Join

  1. If you've been invited to a folder, a route, or a favorite, you'll receive an email with a link.
  2. Clicking the link will open Kurviger and display the Kurviger Cloud with the item that has been shared with you.
  3. Click Join to access the content.

If you want to leave an item that's been shared with you, just open the three-dot menu for that item and click Leave.
