Photo Upload for POIs

Photos are often the deciding factor in determining whether a place is really worth visiting. With Kurviger, you can now upload your own photos to public points of interest (POIs) and share your impressions with the community. At the same time, you can also add photos to your personal favorites.

The result: you can immediately see which places are interesting to you, plan your trips more specifically, and save time when deciding on a route. More visual information means less guesswork and planning that simply feels better.

1. Select a public POI or one of your Favorites and open the Photos tab in the detail view.
2. Tap or click on the Contribute/add photo button and then select the desired photo from your file browser.
3. In the Preview, you can check again which photo you have selected and (for public POIs) under which Username the image will be published. If everything is correct, tap or click on Contribute/add photo and your photo will be uploaded.

Note: It may take a few minutes for your photo to become publicly visible.

After uploading, the photo will appear in the Photos tab in an overview. There you can view all photos that have been uploaded for this POI or favorite. If you tap on a photo in the overview, it will be displayed enlarged. Here you can see who contributed the photo and you can also click through the photos.

You can delete your own photos at any time. To do this, click on the image and then on Delete in the ⁝ menu at the top right. If there is something wrong with another user's photo, you can also Report it here.

With the Kurviger app, you can also take photos with your smartphone camera and upload them directly on site. To do this, tap on the Contribute photo button and then on Take photo, confirm the upload, and others will be able to better assess the POI.
