Route Transfer to the Garmin XT2

  1. Select Garmin XT2 in the Kurviger export.
  2. Select Route and/or Track. When exporting a route, you should also select an option for Additional waypoints so that the route is transferred more accurately. What is the difference between a route and a track?
  3. For current Garmin models, there is an additional option called Embed Garmin route points. You can find more details here.

Further information:

  1. Connect your XT2 to your PC using a USB cable.
  2. Copy the route file exported from Kurviger to the GPX folder on your XT2 or, preferably, to the inserted SD card to free up device memory.
  3. Disconnect the USB connection and start your XT2.
  1. When the device is started, it automatically checks whether new GPX route files are available. If so, a prompt appears asking whether they should be imported. Select Yes.
  2. Check the box next to the desired route file and tap OK.
  3. Select the file content you want to import (route(s), track(s), waypoints) and tap Next.
  4. Select or create a folder (“Collection”) where you want to save the selected content and tap Import. Your route will be saved on your XT2.
  5. The route will now appear in the Explore section and can be accessed and started for navigation as usual.
