Route Transfer to the Navigator VI

  1. Select Navigator 5/6 in the Kurviger export.
  2. Select Route and/or Track. When exporting a route, you should also select an option for Additional waypoints so that the route is transferred more accurately. What is the difference between a route and a track?
  3. For current Garmin models, there is an additional option called Embed Garmin route points. You can find more details here.

Further information:

  1. Connect your Navigator to your PC using a USB cable.
  2. Copy the route file exported from Kurviger to the GPX folder on your Navigator.
  3. Disconnect the USB connection and start your Navigator.

Note: Too many routes in the device memory slow down the USB connection between the PC and the Navigator. It is therefore best to save routes on an SD card and keep the device memory free of old or unnecessary routes.

  1. Go to AppsTrip Planner menu ➜ Import
  2. Check the box next to the desired route and tap Import. Your route will be saved in the Trip Planner of your Navigator.
  3. Your route will now appear in the list and can be accessed and started for navigation as usual.

  1. Go to AppsTracks
  2. Select the desired track in the Saved tab and then tap Import.
  3. To display the track on the main map, tap the wrench icon (top left) and check Show on Map. Your track will now be displayed on the map.
