Can I plan a route over temporarily blocked roads?

Yes, you can plan your route via temporarily closed roads – for example, a summer tour over a pass that is closed in winter. If your route passes over a temporarily closed road, it will be displayed as a red road marking. Click on the closure to get more detailed information about it.

Kurviger only bypasses roads that are marked in OSM as permanently closed (to motorcycles). If a temporary closure is bypassed in the route calculation anyway, it may be because it has been incorrectly or incompletely tagged in the OSM data.
